THE CONTEXT SHIFT

User Data Deletion

Effective date: 18 October 2026 · Applies to The Context Shift Meta app (App ID 1673739094399730)

Our Meta app is a private tool used only by The Context Shift to manage our own Facebook Page. It does not offer Facebook Login, so in most cases we hold no personal data about you at all. If you have commented on or reacted to our Page's posts, you can still ask us to delete any data related to you. Here is how.

Request deletion by email

  1. Send an email to .
  2. Use the subject line: Data deletion request
  3. In the message, include the name shown on your Facebook profile and, if you can, a link to or a copy of the comment(s) on our Page that relate to you. This helps us find the right data.
  4. We will confirm we have received your request.
  5. We will complete the deletion and reply to confirm within 30 days.

We only use the details you send to handle your request. We will not ask for your password.

What we delete

Aggregated Page insights (totals such as views or reach) do not identify individuals, so there is nothing personal to delete there. Data held by Meta on Facebook itself is controlled by Meta; you can manage it in your Facebook settings.

Remove the app's access in Facebook settings

Our app does not use Facebook Login, so it normally will not appear in your list of connected apps. If it ever does, you can remove it yourself at any time:

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Find Apps and websites (in some versions this is under Your activity or Accounts Center).
  3. Look for The Context Shift in the list of active apps.
  4. Select it and choose Remove. You can also tick the option to delete posts, videos or events the app posted on your behalf.

You can also delete any comment you left on our Page directly on Facebook at any time.
